The "Disc Caliper" protection is madein resinate glass fibre and kevlar.
After mounting which is carried out using same fixing scres as for the bump and with the washers contained in the kit which distribute the make up torque over a wider surface, the  "Disc Caliper" protection is not in direct contact with the brake pump which is clearly advantageous from the point of view of shock absorption.
